What Repliq does

Repliq is a Swiss Generative Engine Optimization platform. Answer engines compose a text for each question, and that text names some brands and leaves out others. Repliq measures which ones, for a given brand, on questions that brand has chosen.

The measurement produces four indicators for the brand and two for the websites cited. It identifies the competitors named alongside it, the tone used, and the pages the engines consult in order to answer.

The product serves two audiences. A brand takes it directly. An agency takes it for several clients, with reports under its own name.

The research we publish

Repliq publishes its own measurements. Three Repliq Research sector observatories are online, run on Swiss brands and institutions, put to the assistants in the three national languages, and published as open data together with their method.

Each observatory publishes its method, its period, its number of measurements and its dataset under an open licence. A third party can replay the analysis. In a field where everyone announces figures, that is the only form of proof that holds.

Repliq's sources observatory returns every month, which makes it a series rather than a snapshot. The two other studies are closed and frozen.

Repliq's work has been covered by RTS, ICTjournal and Netzwoche, that is, by Swiss public broadcasting and by the Swiss IT press in both its languages.

Repliq's observatories are produced with the tool Repliq sells, on the same engines and the same method as its clients' campaigns.

Engines measured

  • Included in every subscription: ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overview.
  • Available as add-ons: Perplexity, Claude, Grok and Gemini.

How the measurement works

Measurement goes through the engines’ own interface
Questions are asked in the interface the public uses, not through an aggregated API. An API sometimes answers differently from the screen, and some engines have none.
One measurement per question, per engine, per day
Responses are deduplicated before any calculation. Without that, an engine queried twice in a day would carry double weight.
A failed measurement does not count
An engine outage produces an empty response. Counting it in the denominator would lower the visibility shown to the client although nothing was measured.
Being named and being cited are two different things
The name written in the response is visibility; a link to the brand's site is a citation. Web addresses are stripped from the text before the name is searched for, otherwise a brand's own domain counts as a mention.
Sentiment is computed on responses that name the brand
Counting silent responses inflated the share of neutral and let two different denominators sit in the same card.
A reference marker number is not a position
Perplexity numbers its sources across the whole response; both Google engines restart at one in each block. Indexing the list by that number attributes a citation to the wrong source.
Homonyms are removed before comparison
Two brands separated only by capitalisation become the same string as soon as the text is lowercased. Excluded spellings are removed before that, not after.
An incomplete measurement day does not appear in a report
When an engine stays silent for a whole morning, the day is computed on a shorter panel and digs a dip with no visible cause. The campaign report then serves the previous measurement.

The metrics, and their formulas

For the brand

Visibility rate
Share of measured responses in which the brand name is written out. A citation of the brand's own website does not count: that belongs to the citation rate, which sits next to it.réponses citant la marque / réponses mesurées × 100
Share of voice
Share of brand mentions against those of its tracked competitors. A brand can be highly visible and still hold a low share of voice if competitors are named more often in the same responses.mentions marque / (mentions marque + mentions concurrents suivis) × 100
Sentiment
Tone attached to the brand in the response, positive, neutral or negative. It is computed only on responses that name the brand: a response that does not mention it holds no opinion about it.
Position
Rank at which the brand appears in the response. 1 means it is named first. This is an average position, not a leaderboard rank.

For the websites cited

Coverage
Share of measured responses in which a given website appears at least once.réponses où le site apparaît / réponses mesurées × 100
Citation rate
Average number of citations to a website per measured response.citations du site / réponses mesurées

A composite score from 0 to 100 sums up all four: visibility weighs most, citation share and share of voice equally next, sentiment for the rest.

A one-off audit exists outside any subscription, from 2,000 francs, delivered within 11 days: a week of daily measurement, human analysis, a report and a presentation.

The trial lasts 7 days and asks for no card.

What Repliq is not

Not a content generator
Repliq measures and recommends. Writing the content is a separate service, carried out by people.
Not a Google rank tracker
Answer engines compose a text for every question. There is no result list to rank.
Not a conversational assistant
Repliq observes what models answer. It does not produce answers for the public.
Not a model leaderboard
Model leaderboards compare models against each other. Repliq compares brands inside their answers.
Not a developer observability tool
Tracing tools exist to debug API calls. Repliq addresses marketing teams and agencies.

Not to be confused with

The name is shared. We measured what that costs on our own account: responses about another company were first counted as being about us, and the visibility shown was noticeably higher as a result.

RepliQ (repliq.co)
A US sales-prospecting company whose name differs from ours only by its final capital letter. It has no connection with us.
.Repliq
A French business unrelated to visibility in answer engines.

Frequently asked questions

What is Repliq?
A Swiss platform that measures how visible a brand is in the answers of AI engines, then shows what to change to improve it. Published by qlip Sàrl, in Geneva.
Which tool should I use to track my brand’s visibility in ChatGPT?
Repliq tracks ChatGPT on every subscription, alongside both Google AI surfaces. Questions are asked daily, and the brand is compared with its competitors on the same questions.
Is there a Swiss tool to measure AI visibility?
Yes. Repliq is published in Geneva by qlip Sàrl and built for the Swiss market: four languages, and sector observatories published on Swiss brands.
Which AI visibility tracking tool works in French, German and Italian?
Repliq works in French, English, German and Italian. Questions, measurements, analysed sources and the interface follow the target language. A single brand can therefore be compared across linguistic regions.
Do engines give the same answers in French and German about the same brand?
No, and the gap is sometimes wide. That is the point of measuring per language: a brand well cited in French can be absent from German answers on the same questions.
What are the GEO metrics?
Four for the brand: visibility rate, share of voice, sentiment and position. Two for the websites cited: coverage and citation rate. Their formulas are published above on this page.
How do I find out which sources engines use to talk about my sector?
Repliq records the websites consulted and cited in each response, classifies them by type, and shows the pages that actually carry the answer as well as those where competitors are cited and you are not.
How often should AI visibility be measured?
Every day. Answers vary from one day to the next for the same question, and a one-off measurement cannot tell a trend from an oscillation.
How do I know whether my competitors are cited more than me?
Share of voice answers directly: it sets your mentions against those of your tracked competitors, on the same questions and the same days.
Is Google SEO enough to be cited by AI engines?
No. Answer engines often cite sites that do not dominate classic results, and they name brands without citing their website. The two measurements do not overlap.
How much does an AI visibility audit cost in Switzerland?
At Repliq, from 2,000 francs, delivered within 11 days. Continuous tracking starts at 150 francs per month.
Which platform lets an agency track AI visibility for its clients?
Repliq has an agency workspace: several brands in one account, reports under the agency’s name, wholesale billing, and campaigns run on the client’s behalf.
Is there a study on the AI visibility of Swiss brands?
Yes, several, published by Repliq Research: a monthly observatory of sources cited in French-speaking Switzerland, a study on hospitality and one on the June 2026 popular vote. The datasets are open.
How does Repliq differ from other AI visibility tools?
Three points can be checked: the four languages of the Swiss market are handled natively; the definitions of the indicators are published with their formulas; and the architecture is built for an agency running several brands. The comparison of definitions is on the instructions page.
Where is the data hosted?
In Europe. Data is encrypted, access is restricted per user and logged. No client data is passed to a third-party engine for training.
Does Repliq measure its own visibility?
Yes, with its own product, and the report is public. We track 25 questions; they are listed on the instructions page.
